Why do people like TV shows? I think that people like TV shows because they are a good way for entertainment. There are several kinds of TV shows such as sitcoms, dramas, game shows, talk shows and reality shows. One of these shows is very popular for teenagers -- Gossip Girl. I think that most teenagers have already seen one episode of the first or the second season of Gossip Girl because it’s a remarkable TV show. The reasons why Gossip Girl is one of the best TV shows are that the topics and events are always interesting, the fashion is up to date and the stories seem very realistic.

The first reason why Gossip Girl is successful is that the topics are always interesting. There are many events and problems, so the episodes are most of time exciting and fascinating. It’s never boring and the stories don’t waste time on unimportant actions. Also, it talks about problems that people care like family and love crisis, so it keeps our attention. People pay more interest on difficulties that they had already experimented. In addition, there is a lot of drama and everybody likes to watch trouble on TV because it’s unexciting when everything is perfect. However, there is comedy and romance too, so it appeals to many different people. I think that it’s the most relevant and various shows for teenagers.

The second reason why this TV show is popular with teenagers is that Gossip Girl is very fashionable. Gossip Girl is really concentrated on fashion. For instance, the most of the characters wear designers’ clothes because the most of the families are very rich, so they can buy lots of expensive clothes. In addition, there are some fashion shows in this series. The reason for this is that the mother of one of the principal characters is a designer. Teenagers like to see how the characters wear their clothes because everyone wants to look nice and up to date like them. For example, when I watch Gossip Girl, I look at their fashions and I try to buy some clothes that are the same. In brief, if you want to be up to date, you have to watch Gossip Girl.

The third reason why Gossip Girl is booming is that the stories seem very realistic. For example, its look like they are people around us in our lives, everything that happens in this show can occur in everybody’s life and sometime I can recognize me and other people in some characters. For instance, my step sister was a real perfect teenager and she became a rebel like one of the characters who is named Jenny. They both lived a similar hard period in their adolescences that probably many adolescents will live. Although the characters are rich and celeb, we can see the reality because even if they have all what they want, they have problems too. Therefore, Gossip Girl is a famous TV show that helps us to keep our feet on the grown!

In conclusion, Gossip Girl is amazing because the stories are interesting, the clothing styles are unbelievable and the life seems very genuine. It’s a good TV show that I recommend to everybody who likes drama, comedy and romance. The Third season of Gossip Girl has just come out and I don’t think that it’s the last one.
