The Differences in Two
Forms of Dance

Ballet and Break dance are both form of dance. However, they are very different in style and technique. First of all, break dance has a basic vocabulary, but there is no real technique because it’s more freestyle. In contrast, ballet is structured, graceful and incredibly precise. Also, break dance is spontaneity and improvisations the most of the time while ballet is prepared choreography shows. In addition, ballet is a serious dance whereas break dance is fun. The both form are a physical and artistic expression. Consequently, these forms of dance required special outfits. Obligatory, ballet dancers need to wear form fitting clothes because it’s important to see all the gesture of their bodies such as leotard and tight. However, the color of these clothes must be pink, black or beige. Moreover, the ballet tutu is really popular for ballerina. In contrast, break dance doesn’t have specific clothes, but the most of break dancers wear loose and big outfit because they don’t do delicate and subtle move that we need to see. To sum up, ballet and break dance are really different in terms of style and technique.
